Daily Schedule:

We advise you to book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar.

We suggest arriving 1-3 days prior, depending on where you are traveling from so you can start the Retreat nice and refreshed! Jetlag is no-one’s friend!

Flying into Bali:

Transfers are at your own expense, however, should you require any assistance or have any specific requests, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

The drive is usually about 60 mins from the airport to Canggu depending on traffic. Allow ample time for traffic delays.

Airport Transfers:

Booking your Flight:

You must have a return flight on your airline booking. You cannot book a one way flight for a holiday. If you are planning to extend your holiday after the Retreat, please ensure you have a return flight booked prior to boarding the flight.

Passport:

Your passport must have 6+ months left before expiry to travel to Bali. You must also have an ordinary (non-emergency) passport.

Please check your entry & passport requirements to ensure you comply, in advance.

Vaccinations:

Please ensure you are up to date with all of the latest requirements around vaccinations etc, including Covid before booking.

Arrival Day:

2-2:30PM: Check into your room.
2:30PM -3PM: Welcome/House Keeping in Lounge Room
3:30PM - 5PM: Intention Setting Workshop.

*We kindly ask you arrive on time as we will be starting activities on time to avoid delays with dinner plans off site at a Restaurant.

Food & Drink:

Belajar butler will be available for food delivery or other requests, however this is at your own expense. The Retreat includes 3x scheduled meals per day minus arrival and departure day. Any additional food or drinks is at your own expense.

You’ll be invited to your Retreat Telegram Group so that you can introduce yourself and connect with the other ladies coming to your retreat week.

Please download the Telegram app on your phone - we’ll send the invite link via email.

Telegram Group:

You are welcome to do as you wish during your free time, however we do ask you remain in Canggu due to the limited time frames & you must be back in time for the next activity.

There are so many beautiful cafes, restaurants, spas and the beach close by. You may even spend your time solo, or by the pool with the ladies.

As this is a healing, and self-development retreat, there will be no drinking while the workshops are on or on site. As we are prioritising healing and letting go of what does not serve us, a clear mind is vital. However, you may drink responsibly at our farewell dinner should you choose to. Each attendee is strictly to respect all ladies choices, and not encourage anyone to if they do not wish to.

Free Time:

IMPORTANT INFO…

For most countries, travellers visiting Bali will enter on a Visa on Arrival. You can purchase this once you arrive at the airport in Bali, or in advance for approximately $50 USD. This is subject to change so please look into this.

This Visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days. Please double-check your country's requirements and eligibility, as it's your responsibility to obtain the appropriate visa for entry. If you extend your Visa, you will need to make an appointment with immigration.

If asked why you are in Bali, please always state "HOLIDAY" not 'Retreat'. Due to the language barrier 'Retreat' can be seen as a business activity and that you are not here for a holiday.

Bali Customs:

Final Day & Departure Flights:

On our final day the Retreat will come to a close around 10am, after our last breakfast. You will have between 10-11am to officially check out.

We kindly ask you to not leave earlier than this on the last day so we can have a group goodbye to finish off the Retreat.

It is recommended to leave at least 3-4 hours between then and your booked flight, as traffic can be unpredictable throughout the day in Bali.

ABIT ABOUT BALI….

  • It is important NOT to drink the tap water in Bali. This can cause you to become unwell, especially if you are not a frequent Bali visitor.

    Please ensure:
    -You only drink bottled water
-Brush your teeth with bottled water
-Do not open your mouth in the shower or when you are washing your face
-Do not swallow water in the shower
-I personally also order drinks with no ice however this is at your own discretion

  • While in Bali, we want to ensure you are feeling healthy and avoid Bali Belly. To do this, we highly recommend to avoid any roadside stores/carts and/or wurungs.

Although Bali Belly cannot be avoided 100%, It is recommended you stick to higher quality restaurants and cafes - particularly where many tourists attend.

  • If you wish to buy a local sim card, you can do so at the Airport.

    To Note:
    -Passport is required for purchase.
-”Telkomsel” is a big provider in Bali, and who I have used in the past. However, you choose who is right for you.

  • Mosquitos can be savage in Bali, so being prepared with repellent is important.

We have been provided a recommendation for a local brand that is great - “Begonebug by Utama Spice”.

This can be purchased in Bali at:
    Guardian Pharmacy
    Bali Buddha
    Or any health shops

  • We do not recommend using ATM’s on the street, to avoid any scams. ATM skimming is known in Bali, so take extra precautions.

For additional security, look into travel cards or you can exchange money at the Airport before arriving at the Retreat.

  • GoJek is the Uber and Uber Eats of Bali. You can order anything from transfers via cars and scooters, food, drinks, groceries etc.

You can download the app on your phone, however you do require a local sim to activate and use this.

  • Crime rates are low in Bali but we do ask you to be mindful and aware of you, your belongings and your surroundings while visiting.

This is also why Travel Insurance is recommended, as you are responsible for yourself, and your belongings.

-The standard of medical facilities in Indonesia is generally lower than in Australia
-The roads in Bali are uneven, and don’t be fooled by pedestrian crossings as not everyone abides by these.
-Again, you are travelling to Bali for a “Holiday”

  • A few basic words of Indonesian will take you a long way in Bali. Here are some words to help you through:

    Hello - Halo
    Goodbye -
    Selamat Tinggal
    Thankyou -
    Terimakasih
    Your Welcome -
    Sama Sam
    Please -
    Tolong
    No -
    Tidak
    Excuse Me - Permisi
